About
Trendy Trinkets began with an ordinary frustration. Finding good South Asian jewellery in Australia usually meant a trip home, a favour asked of a visiting relative, or an order that arrived looking very little like its photograph.
We are based in Sydney and we source directly. Each piece is chosen on its own — not acquired as a block — and each listing image is the item itself, shot as it arrived. Nothing is rendered. Nothing is borrowed.
What we hold
Bangles and kadas. Jhumkas, chandbalis and statement drops. Necklace sets with matching earrings. Chokers. Gold-plated pieces. Hand-embroidered Banjara bags. Dupattas. Traditional work for weddings and festivals, and quieter pieces for ordinary Tuesdays.
Sourced individually
Not bought as a catalogue block.
Sets arrive complete
Necklace, earrings, and where noted, the tikka.
The photograph is the piece
Not a render. Not a borrowed image.
A few of each
By choice, not by accident.
What we will not hold
Counterfeit goods, in any form, at any margin. If a piece carries a mark it has no right to carry, it does not enter the store. That line stays where it is even when it costs us stock.
How we describe things
Gold-plated is called gold-plated. A set is called a set only when the matching pieces are in the box. Where a material cannot be verified, we describe what can be seen rather than assert what cannot.
Where we send
Everywhere in Australia, from Sydney.
We are small. That is the point. It is why every piece is looked at before it is listed, and why your email is answered by a person.
